Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in Roslindale Village

Somatic Citizenry - Empowerment Thru Embodiment

NEW LOCATION at SUBSTATION WORKHUB!

Renovations and reconstruction has begun for the building at 20 Belgrade, and I have relocated my practice temporarily to the WorkHub Substation at 4228 Washington St., Roslindale.  (Across from Adams Park).   All massage therapy appointments will now be located downstairs in private office #2.  More details below.

Happy Fall!

It's been a whirlwind end of Summer and beginning of Autumn, as I had to find a new, but temporary location for my practice as construction and renovation has begun upstairs at 20 Belgrade Ave.  Two weeks ago (Sept 16th), with some sweat, tears, and bruises, I hauled the past five years out of Suite 4, and have relocated to a private office space in the Workhub Substation. While the transtition has been a bit frazzled and stressful, I am excited for what's to come!  After construction, I will have a larger space that will enable me to offer more options for bodywork, yoga, movement, and gathering for somatic wellness.  In the meantime, I'll be in the historic and happening Substation, the unique gem of Roslindale!

Shout out to the Workhub Substation team (Laura, Vickie, and Adam) for helping make the transition into their space easy and welcoming.

I'm still settling in, but my books are open and my regular schedule still stands for appointments on Mon, Tue, Thur, and Fri.  Please book your regular appointments, or a new one if you haven't been in for a while.   See you soon at the Substation!

Hey There!

I am a certified and licensed, professional massage therapist and yoga instructor with over 15 years of hands on, active experience in movement and healing arts.  I come to massage therapy and yoga with a background in dance and movement, fascinated with the way the body works and how to live in our bodies more efficiently, expressively, and pain free!

I focus my massage therapy practice on deep tissue, therapeutic massage (drawing from Swedish, myo-fascial release, trigger point therapy, and lymphatic drainage techniques) that stop pain patterns while incorporating elements of Yoga, Shiatsu, stretching, breathe work, and somatic education for a relaxing, holistic treatment.  I recently learned Cranio-sacral therapy and cupping and have added these techniques to my practice!

I have had success helping clients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions such as plantar fasciitis, thoracic outlet syndrome, migraines, iliotibial band issues, and low back pain.  I have worked with pregnant women, Olympic runners, professional musicians and dancers, cyclists, and people that sit at desks all day.

I believe massage therapy, yoga, and movement are powerful and valid forms of physical medicine, as new research in the field, and work with my clients is continuing to prove.  Through massage therapy and yoga I want clients to feel empowered with an awareness of their bodies and freedom of pain that enable them to become active somatic citizens.
