Hey There!

I am a certified and licensed, professional massage therapist and yoga instructor with over 15 years of hands on, active experience in movement and healing arts.  I come to massage therapy and yoga with a background in dance and movement, fascinated with the way the body works and how to live in our bodies more efficiently, expressively, and pain free!

I focus my massage therapy practice on deep tissue, therapeutic massage (drawing from Swedish, myo-fascial release, trigger point therapy, and lymphatic drainage techniques) that stop pain patterns while incorporating elements of Yoga, Shiatsu, stretching, breathe work, and somatic education for a relaxing, holistic treatment.  I recently learned Cranio-sacral therapy and cupping and have added these techniques to my practice!

I have had success helping clients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions such as plantar fasciitis, thoracic outlet syndrome, migraines, iliotibial band issues, and low back pain.  I have worked with pregnant women, Olympic runners, professional musicians and dancers, cyclists, and people that sit at desks all day.

I believe massage therapy, yoga, and movement are powerful and valid forms of physical medicine, as new research in the field, and work with my clients is continuing to prove.  Through massage therapy and yoga I want clients to feel empowered with an awareness of their bodies and freedom of pain that enable them to become active somatic citizens.
